I think the title says it all. I’m graduating with a B.A. in political science and a minor in Asian studies. I took my last final just a couple weeks ago and I made the big walk last week. It’s hard to believe it’s all over. Fin. Done.
I’ll admit, I’m a bundle of emotions: excitement, apprehension, and melancholy. Its so weird to not have homework. Its weird to not have classes picked out for next semester. Its weird to move onto “real life.” School has been like a cocoon and now I have to leave, but as a beautiful butterfly. And man, moving on is going to be blast! Moving to new places, working and earning money, and changing the world. Its seriously going to be adventure time!
I’m also super excited to mention that I’m going to be a dad!!! I can hardly believe it, but in just a few months I’m going to be the proud father of a baby (the gender is still TBA). Just a few weeks ago I heard the heartbeat of my baby, and it was one of the most incredible moments of my life. It really is hard to explain just how it feels, but believe me, it was incredible.
Life is totally changing, and I’m at this new crossroad in my life; like this blog I don’t know exactly what I’m doing or what direction to take, but I’m just taking it one step at a time. So stay tuned, I’ve got some other epic adventures on the way and you’re not going to want to miss out on them.
